5 Hotel Site Project

Castello Group

The Castello family founded the Castello Group in the early nineties with the primary focus of the business being hospitality where Castello’s was formed.

Their first acquisition was Castello’s Chelsea Hotel which underwent extensive renovations to set the benchmark in the Mornington Peninsula and transform the hotel creating a more inviting family-friendly environment. Since then, the Castello Group has grown and currently sit with 7 Hotels under the Castello’s banner.

The Castello Group were experiencing increased power costs, and as a result elected to install over 300kW of solar across their Metro Melbourne and rural Victorian hotels. The roll out of this project maximised financial returns by including Voltage Optimisation as part of the value proposition.

Physical installations were completed so as to avoid disruption to trade and patrons. The sites now fully functioning will reduce carbon emissions by 340 Tonnes each year.
